Forward-Thinking Design in Cambridge Crossing

MAWD’s first Boston project is a prime example of next-gen life sciences space, tailored to cutting-edge companies and their tech-native, globally conscious employees. The fresh, modern aesthetic is designed to also appeal to potential collaborative partners and top young talent.

Warm and welcoming, the lobby features a striking double-height green wall, as well as heavily textured materials and custom lighting. Seating groups activate the lobby and provide useful spaces for impromptu meetings over coffee or typing out one last email before running out the door. A convenient and contemporary bike room features oversized black and white graphics with pops of color and accounts for the local community’s affinity for clean transportation.

For 222 Jacobs Street at DivcoWest’s Cambridge Crossing innovation community in Greater Boston, we created a hospitality-inspired lobby and amenity program that aligned with the development’s slogan: People first. Buildings second.
