James White attends the Dubai International Boat Show and explores the latest in Superyacht Interiors

Design Insights from the Dubai International Boat Show

Last week at the Dubai International Boat Show, we had the opportunity to explore some of the most exciting innovations in superyacht interior design. As always, the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail on display was exceptional, with shipyards showcasing interiors that seamlessly blend luxury, technology, and functionality.

One of the standout trends this year was the increasing use of organic, natural materials—textured woods, earthy palettes, and soft, tactile fabrics that create a sense of warmth and elegance. The move toward open, flexible spaces was also evident, with interiors designed to flow effortlessly between indoor and outdoor living. From multi-use lounges to sunken seating areas and panoramic glazing, it’s clear that modern yacht interiors are prioritising both comfort and connection to the surrounding environment.

Beyond the design itself, the show was a great chance to reconnect with industry partners, meet new suppliers, and gain fresh inspiration for future projects. Seeing the latest in bespoke furnishings, luxury fabrics, and innovative layouts reaffirmed just how much the world of yacht interiors continues to evolve.

Each year, the Dubai International Boat Show sets the stage for what’s next in the industry, and this year was no exception. See below some of our favourite inspirations.

1
A perfect balance of luxury and design—Benetti’s timeless yacht exterior model, onboard one of Gulf Craft's yachts an exterior glass bottomed jacuzzi and on the interior a bold interplay of blue hues creating depth and contrast in the living space.
2
A seamless blend of function and elegance—curated kitchenware display, natural skylight, and teak wood accents with refined seating details, creating a warm and sophisticated space.
3
A sophisticated interplay of design—minimalist tones in the bedroom, the striking Gulf Craft stand, and a marble and bronze-infused dining space, each showcasing refined elegance and craftsmanship.
