Since founding their eponymous design studio in 2010, Elliot March and James White felt a need for a furniture collection that was impeccably designed while also upholding the highest sustainability and environmental standards.

Now, with the benefit of over two decades of global design experience and through two years of product development, MAWD introduces the MAWDmade Collection, the realization of this vision that is Declare Certified and achieves the highest Red List Free status.

    All our products are Declare Certified and 'Red List Free’. Our materials are clean, non-toxic, certified organic and recyclable ensuring we meet the highest industry standards for product transparency.

    Our products assist Architects & Designers by meeting the requirements of leading green building standards, including the LEED, and WELL Certifications.

  • LBC Red List Free

    Our collection does not contain any Red List chemicals, and as LBC Red List Free products, we disclose 100% of ingredients present at or above 100 ppm (0.01%).

  • Domestically Produced

    We design & manufacturer all of our products in the United States ensuring we help minimize our carbon footprint.

  • Circular

    We promote a circular future for the collection’s materials – 90% of which are recyclable following the object's life span.

  • Made to Order

    Each piece is handmade and made-to-order, ensuring minimum production waste, with upcycled and recyclable packaging.

Designed and manufactured in California, the MAWDmade Collection has been engineered from the inside out ensuring complete transparency and trust with every one of the product ingredients disclosed to meet the strict environment standards of The International Future Living Institute’s ‘Declare Label’.

MAWDmade's Collection is made to order, a manufacturing process that will reduce the overall material waste for the collection. Redefining the future of high-end design, the collection not only aims to provide greater visibility on sustainable practices and waste reduction, but promote a circular future for the collection’s materials – 90% of which are recyclable following the object's life span.

Quality design without compromise. We are meticulous about what goes into our collection, and as importantly, what is left out.

All of our products are certified free of:

Fire Retardants

PentaBDE, octaBDE, decaBDE, perchloroethylene, bisphenol A and triclosan

Ozone Depleters

Chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons

Heavy Metals

Lead, mercury, cadmium, and nickel

Known Carcinogens

Formaldehyde and azo dyes

Phlalates

Diisononyl phthalate (DINP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), di-n-pentyl phthalate (DPENP), di-n-hexyl phthalate (DHEXP) and dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP)
