The Connected Lounge Chair
Sumptuous and enveloping, the Connected lounge chair epitomizes MAWDmade’ DNA through conscious luxury. Cushioned and opulent, Connected is wrapped in a beautiful leather from Spain that is dyed with olive leaves from the Mediterranean region. Adding softness to the leather, a curled bouclé fabric blends Angora wool and cotton for natural temperature regulation. The chair’s palatial comfort is complimented by its stand out geometric ribbed spine, while responsibly sourced wood complies with the highest forestry standards in terms of lifecycle impact.
Following the Connected lounge chair's lifespan, 90% of the chair can be recycled.
Materials
- Our Wood
- Natural, renewable, and sustainably sourced, our solid hardwood comes from local sustainably sourced forests that comply with the highest forestry standards in terms of lifecycle impact.
- Organic Favric
- A curled bouclé fabric. The spun bouclé yarn created by blending wool, viscose and acrylic gives the surface a soft tactility. Made from Angora wool, regenerated cellulose, and cotton, this material is Greenguard Gold, HPD certified.
- Our Leather
- We use beautiful, semi-aniline leather. Each hide is produced in Spain, with an olive leaf extract wet-green® tanning agent (created from fallen olive leaves in the Mediterranean region that have been collected and processed in compliance with socially sustainable standards). Certified Clean Air Gold & Declare Red List Free.
- Our Foam
- High-Resiliency Foam: This polyester foam is one of the cleanest synthetic choices on the market. It’s certified by CertiPUR-US® (the highest standard in the industry).
