Paragon LIC Celebrates Launch with Rooftop Event in Long Island City

Paragon LIC Marks a Milestone with Rooftop Celebration Overlooking the Manhattan Skyline
On October 6, 2026, guests gathered at Paragon LIC in Long Island City for an evening celebrating the development. Set against the Manhattan skyline, the rooftop event brought together the people behind the project to mark a milestone for the waterfront residence, developed by ZD Jasper with interiors by MAWD | March and White Design and architecture by Archimaera.

Industrial Heritage, Contemporary Living
Located at 45-40 Vernon Boulevard beside Anable Basin, Paragon brings 182 condominium residences to the Long Island City waterfront. The development incorporates the original structure of the 1930s Paragon Paint Factory, connecting the building to the neighbourhood’s industrial history while introducing a contemporary residential tower.
MAWD’s interior design draws on this history through a palette of tactile materials, layered pigments and textured finishes. Across the residences and amenity spaces, expressive material transitions and refined detailing balance industrial references with a contemporary approach to residential living. Light-filled interiors and considered finishes create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, complemented by the building’s waterfront setting.

A Waterfront Setting
The development extends beyond the residences to include shared amenities and outdoor spaces, with a landscaped rooftop terrace, fitness facilities and a Sky Lounge offering indoor and outdoor seating. A public waterfront park and walkway also connect the site to the East River, contributing to the neighborhood’s evolving waterfront landscape.
The October gathering offered an opportunity to celebrate Paragon and the collaboration behind its design, bringing together the architecture, interiors and setting that define the development.
