Interior Architecture (Hard Finishes / Detail) & FF&E

Curated amenities unlike anything in Midtown South

Inspired by some of the latest trends in work and hospitality interiors, this cutting-edge space is designed to easily flex from day to night and from work space to event space. Aimed at TAMI and FIRE tenants, the project embodies MAWD's "performance over ping-pong" approach to boutique commercial interiors.

With its popular location and distinctive architectural features, the projects provides an excellent opportunity to reach a new category of tenants setting up long term growth and success.

Highly Amenitized and Hospitality-Led

Columbia approached MAWD to create a differentiated product through increased customization for the target audience. The goal was to create spaces that embraced modern, flexible ways of working, for efficiency, value, and employee engagement.

New York is filled with non-commercial spaces where people love to work, and MAWD proposed bringing that feeling to 149 Madison.

The central location is well placed for transportation links, dining and New York's famous Madison Square and Bryant Parks. The integrated ground floor food and beverage operator provides an easy lunch option as well as catering events and meetings.

A successful interior for 149 Madison would layer Columbia's brand with architectural elements authentic to the building. The warmth and earthiness of the building's exterior should be reflected in the interior.
