The Wingate Soho
When Art Meets Tech
MAWD collaborated with London gallery Edel Assanti to produce an installation that activates and transforms the arrival space at The Wingate, a modernist office building in the heart of Soho. The developer, Seaforth, were looking for a way to connect The Wingate to its location.
MAWD worked with commissioning artist Nathaniel Rackowe to create an enhanced interior that connects to its Soho setting.

As art and technology collide, the arrival sequence is becoming far more interactive - a more significant space that benefits key decision makers, tenants and visitors alike.

As an extension of the trend for experience-based offices, the traditional lobby has evolved from a transitory place to an immersive space that brings people together through a fusion of art, technology and Experience-Centric Design.
We had created a fantastic entrance lobby space, but it lacked a visual connection with the streetscape and had minimum engagement with building occupants. MAWD were incredibly helpful in guiding us and managing the process and end results speak for themselves.
