Sunset Club
A private members club on Sunset Boulevard. The site includes a historic Art deco building fronting Sunset and a plot to the rear for a new build property.
The Sunset Strip is so iconic and has a ton of history! We really wanted to embrace inside / outside entertaining by setting up a series of 'decks' that would host different functions to create an interactive user experience throughout the club .
Instagrammable stair
The lobby features a modern staircase that serves as the new connection through the existing art-deco building. Warm authentic materials are fused with contrasting polished metals.
Rooftop entertaining
We created a large rooftop entertaining deck that with a central bar and DJ booth. These sit within a series of levels are configured like the back of a yacht affording stunning views over LA.
Our approach was to take inspiration from the Art Deco building fusing it with a ‘yacht to land’ concept for the new build property to the rear. The old and new are connected creating a private club with exclusive apartments around the garden and pool.
