The Future Perfect Goldwyn House: A Visit with David Alhadeff
For anyone in the design world, no trip to Los Angeles is complete without a visit to The Future Perfect's Goldwyn House. The MAWD team was lucky enough to have a tour with David Alhadeff, Founder and Director of The Future Perfect. With locations in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, TFP supplies insiders with one of a kind furniture and design pieces. The showrooms themselves are experiential, designed as a residential concept gallery.
The architectural design of the Goldwyn House is as much a work of art as the items it contains, with every element meticulously chosen to create a seamless flow of creativity. It’s a place where art and design do more than coexist—they thrive together, blurring the lines between everyday living and creative expression. The Goldwyn House’s ability to inspire and provoke thought about the future of living spaces reaffirms the transformative power of design.

A Conversation with the Innovators at STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN
With locations in New York, London, Miami (and soon Los Angeles) the MAWD team met up with the West Coast team behind STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN, an art and design gallery representing contemporary, iconic, limited edition and collectible furniture and design. Together, MAWD and STUDIOTWENTYSEVEN explored this year's edition of Frieze Los Angeles.
Frieze was not only a showcase of innovative art, but also an opportunity to connect with passionate individuals who are shaping the future of our cultural landscape. This year's edition reinforced the idea that the future of art and design lies at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and imagination. It’s a future that embraces new media, new materials, and new ways of thinking.
As we continue to navigate an ever-evolving world, events like Frieze remind us of the importance of staying curious and open to new ideas. Whether in a hotel, private residence, wellness space or private member's club, art and design will continue to challenge us to think differently about the world around us, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes us next. Until then, I look forward to more inspiring conversations and experiences that push us to imagine what’s possible.
