Live, Work and Play in a Super Tower by Rafael Viñoly Architects

Working within a tall tower with a slender footprint, MAWD created a highly programmed and space driven interior with three different design palettes that respond to the key vistas experienced as one ascends the building (Terra, Aqua, Strata) together with three signature furniture packages.

In addition to being inspired by the neighborhood, the interiors had to echo the architecture of a master. Rafael Viñoly Architects are responsible for some of the most beloved civic and cultural buildings around the world, including award-winning museums, performing arts centers, convention centers, arenas, hotels and residential complexes as well as large urban commercial and institutional master plans.

An Exercise in Detailed Perfection

Details matter, especially in architecture. MAWD envisioned each residence to amplify space, light and the building's architecture, and took a detail-focused approach to selecting the perfect materials. In the master bedroom, the bed was placed in the center of the room to optimize flow. Symmetry and proportion were central to planning the bathrooms, which feature bespoke surfaces and fittings.

The Peak of Wellness

The Greenwich prioritized the resident experience above all else ... literally. Placing the phenomenal amenities at the top of the building ensured that the benefits of the view would be shared by the community.

Known as The 88, the design of this "private sanctuary in the sky" reflects MAWD's years creating private members clubs and superyachts. A tranquil counterpoint to the hustle below, the 15,000 sq ft space features a private theater, dining room, relaxation lounge, pool, spa, sauna and fitness center, all with the opportunity to enjoy captivating views at every turn.

The amenity spaces, which include a 50-foot-long lap pool, spa, fitness center, yoga studio, media room and dining and conference room, aim for a convivial atmosphere.
